Johansen IAS Audiometric Assessment

1 hour 30 mins In-Person Age 6+

Service Description

An Audiometric assessment that includes checklists to gather background information that helps us triage symptoms alongside a listening audiogram, if appropriate, in addition to formal and informal tests examining the individual’s profile and difficulties they are experiencing. An individualised home sound therapy programme will then be prescribed based on this assessment. This involves daily listening to music with specially recorded tracks for 10-15 minutes through over the ear headphones. Many individuals prefer to listen at bedtime when they are more relaxed and daytime activities are not interrupted.
